Hoi An

Hoi An was a very nice relaxing city. Very small and easy to walk anywhere. And a very nice ocean beach just outside of town.

It has a rich history and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Two to three hundred years ago it was an international trading center and traded with people from all over the world including the Dutch, China, Japan and India. They each had trading emporiums and had individual communities for their people. Some of the old buildings have survived to the present, including an old Japanese covered bridge.
